Inside Out Weight Loss
Category: Health
The host of Inside Out Weight Loss, Renee Stephens, believes the best way to lose weight is to alter personal behavioral habits and change ones perception of himself to focus first on the inside (emotions, thoughts) and then on the outside. Renee strives to enforce her belief that losing weight can be fun, and she is very convincing. However, losing inches from the waist line takes a back seat to the value placed on the things that really matter in life. Renee’s voice is soothing and calming which adds to the overall tone of Inside Out Weight Loss. The format of the episodes are progressive in nature starting with the foundations of behavioral change in earlier episodes and adding layers of “how-to” content in the most recent episodes. Stephens encourages listeners to participate in the show’s Yahoo group to receive encouragement on their weight loss journey. Inside Out Weight Loss in unique and refreshing in comparison to the much abused philosophy of “loose weight and life will be perfect.” Listen to this podcast to learn how to get the most out of life, and lose weight while doing it.

Free Beer Podcast
Category: Comedy
Free Beer Podcast is not safe for kids, but adults may really enjoy this comedic and laid-back podcast. Many hosts participate in this show, but Howie usually leads the way. Numerous drinking games are explored along with episode specific drinking rules (enforceable by consuming more alcohol). Also, included are the how-to’s of making specialized drinks (The Drink of the Week). At its best, Free Beer Podcast is a hilarious and contagious podcast that features very relatable hosts who encourage listeners to laugh at life’s simple things. At its worst, the podcast can be tedious with too many conversations leading to nowhere (that can happen when the hosts are a bit tipsy). The hosts show a great lack of fear when experimenting with the podcast’s format. This is a show that is evolving quickly, and we believe it has a great start.
