Entry Three

Phone Different Podcast

This show discusses iPhone and related topics. The hosts discuss news and rumors floating on the Web. One thing to note is that they reported something that a professional reported as false. The hosts are low-key and not very energetic; almost monotone. They seem somewhat hesitant and a little unprepared for the show. They record in stereo so that each one host comes from the left speaker and the other from the right. The audio itself is fairly decent with some minor issues.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆

History Podcast

This podcast deals with anything found in history. The host does not appear to be very knowledgeable on the topics covered in the show. One review states that he reported inaccuracies. He also continually mispronounces words. Sources are cited, but most of the time it seems that he is reading them directly. The audio is decent, but the presentation needs some work. The host is very monotone, and it sounds like he is reading the entire time.

Lullabot’s team offers education, architecture, and guidance through public and private training and consulting. Lullabot is a podcast that demonstrates the difficult in rating a show. The podcast is more informative vs. having entertainment value. The hosts and their guest are knowledgably in their understanding of Drupul. The audio quality and levels for each person were consistent and well normalized. Where Lullabot gets points off is in the category of “Presentation and Delivery”. The show does not employ any type of audio transitions or bumpers to help break the show into more manageable pieces. This made the podcast drag at times.
